Yoshitha Rajapaksa and his wife visited the Slave ISland Police Station this morning to provide statements concerning a recent incident involving a clash at a nightclub.
The police reportedly recorded their statements for over two hours.
The incident occurred when a group accompanying Yoshitha Rajapaksa entered a nightclub on Park Street in Colombo. During the altercation, a security guard was assaulted and subsequently admitted to the hospital with injuries.
Slave Island Police are conducting an investigation into the matter based on a complaint that was filed regarding the incident.
