
Opal Suchata Chungsri of Thailand has been crowned Miss World 2025, taking home the prestigious title at the 72nd edition of the global pageant.
The Miss World competition, which first began in Great Britain in 1951, kicked off its 2025 edition in Telangana, India, on May 7. This year’s event saw participation from 108 contestants representing nations from around the world.
As part of the pageant’s revised structure, participants were grouped by continent—America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Asia & Oceania. From each continental group, 10 contestants were selected to move forward to the final round of the competition.
With her victory, Opal Suchata Chungsri not only brings pride to Thailand but also secures her place in history as one of the standout winners of the Miss World legacy.
