Sri Lanka pyramid schemes face new CBSL action as 25 firms and apps, including OnmaxDT and Best Life, are named in a public warning.
Sri Lanka pyramid schemes came under fresh Central Bank action on July 4, 2026, after CBSL issued a public notice banning 25 operations and warning the public.
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka said it acted after an investigation under Section 83C of the Banking Act, No. 30 of 1988, as amended. According to CBSL, “Infinity Rover (Pvt) Ltd” engaged in, maintained, and promoted a prohibited pyramid scheme.

The Central Bank also said the following institutions and applications had conducted prohibited pyramid schemes under the same section of the Banking Act:
