The comments came days after former First Lady Jill Biden said her husband was “doing okay.” She also said he undergoes medical testing every three months and acknowledged that cancer would remain part of his life because it had spread to his bones.
Despite his illness, Biden has continued making selected public appearances. Hunter said his father remains engaged with public life and continues speaking about issues he considers important.
Biden served as US president from January 2021 to January 2025. His health and age became major political issues during the 2024 election campaign before he ended his bid for another term.
