By the close of trading, the All Share Price Index (ASPI) had fallen by 170.82 points, settling at 15,878.82 points. Similarly, the S&P SL20 Index, which tracks the performance of the top 20 companies, dropped by 53.63 points, ending the day at 4,806.63 points.
The day’s total turnover was recorded at Rs. 8.5 billion, indicating moderate trading activity amid declining market sentiment.
