From humble beginnings, Prakash rose to prominence as the esteemed Chairman of Butani Exports and the Butani Group, earning accolades for his leadership and vision. Yet, despite his professional success, he remained deeply grounded, treating everyone he encountered with equal respect and dignity, be it a driver, laborer, garment worker, executive, or senior manager. His warmth and humility uplifted all who crossed his path, making him not just a leader but an inspiration.

Prakash was the cornerstone of his family, offering boundless love to his former wife Astrid, his current wife Roshani, and his cherished daughters Karishma, Sonam, and Malaika. His nephews, Rajiv and Prashan Butani, and his loving brother Kishin Butani, were devoted to him, as were other members of the Butani family spread across the globe. His legacy also remembers his siblings who preceded him: Raj Butani, Ranjith Butani, Ms. Pushpa Butani, and his beloved sisters Mrs. Maya Butani in the Caribbean and Ms. Asha Butani in Canada.
